Deep V Knits

Just a quick post to show some love for this new purchase. I've been trying to stock up on the odd jumper here and there and couldn't resist this one during my latest trip to H&M.
Also apologies about the shadowy photo here, but with working full time I'm forced to take photos with no natural daylight. The major downside to winter I guess.

Talking Scents
A new season brings a new scent and after a few winters of Fan di Fendi I felt it was time for a change.
Enter Si by Giorgio Armani. A fruity but musky scent with a warm woody sweetness.
Opening with notes of Sicilian Bergamot, Mandarin Oil and Liquer de Cassis, the heart bursts with Rose de Mai absolute, Neroli absolute and Egyptian Jasmine absolute, with warm base notes of Patchouli oil, woods, Amber and Orcanox.
Although a strong scent when first applied, the dry down is actually agreeably soft.
I think this scent is one that would appeal to those of you that like Flowerbomb, Miss Dior or Jimmy Choo. I'm not totally sure whether it will replace my love for Fendi but it is definitely a worthy contender.

Ok so its officially half way through the month which can only mean one thing. The obligatory payday wishlist. Is it just me that spends all their wages in the first two weeks only to then live like a pauper for the other two?
Also with the majority of my wages now having to go on wedding related items all my wishlist pieces are under a cool £50...bonus!

Girls not grey

Is it just me or is anyone else struggling with dressing for this weather? One minute there's a chill in the air and a promise of colder days being just around the corner, then the next...bright sunshine and temperatures edging 20 degrees.
So I was probably underestimating the weather with this coat and I did start to feel like I was slowly cooking as the day wore on but I couldn't wait any longer. I bought this coat months ago in an ASOS sale and have been patiently waiting for its first outing.
I'd been looking for a grey coat for a while to help break up my regular all black outfits and loved how this coat could also add some extra texture. Now I'm just debating whether to go for the Topshop teddy coat. Well lets face it. You can never be too prepared for the winter chill!

One year to go!
So it's exactly one year till I say I do, which means I now have to kick my butt into gear and organise the million and one things needed to make the day perfect.
I'm off to the Wedding Fair at Event City tomorrow for some inspiration and then in two weeks time I'm off to go and try on some wedding dresses...clearly the best part of being engaged...well that and tasting all the cakes!
As much as I'm looking forward to trying on dresses I'm also really anxious. I've always been someone that knows exactly what style I'm after when it comes to clothing, but for some reason when I close my eyes I just can't seem to picture me wearing any specific style of dress. This is either a blessing as I'll be open to options or a curse and I'll still be there trying on my 100th gown.
I would feel sorry for the poor shop assistant that will have to deal with me that day but as it's actually going to be one of my best friends I may just try on 100 anyway...just because I can! Hehe
